Grupo Ortiz is building the refurbishment of the office building it owns in Castellana 19, Madrid for the Consorcio General de Seguros. In order to generate a high quality As-Built Model, Grupo Ortiz has commissioned CORE, an expert in Design & Construction Management with new technologies, to support the implementation of the BIM methodology in the construction phase, monitoring the work, control of changes and model execution.
The rehabilitation project has the collaboration of Ruiz-Larrea & Asociados as architectural firm, and Grupo Ortiz as the main construction company, where CORE collaborates in the preparation of the BIM model and its monitoring during the construction phase.
CORE has incorporated some of the aspects of its C2R Construction Project Management System allowing for the Project:
i. Continuous updating of the information of the executed work.
ii. In development of an As-Built model for future O&M with all disciplines.
These improvements over the usual project management systems contribute to having a Digital Twin of the constructed work for optimisation of the Maintenance phase.
