Grupo Ortiz promoted the project of the new Third Deposit Park on Filipinas Avenue, Madrid. The project involves the remodeling of the park that Canal built on its Third Water Tank, a century-old infrastructure that supplies water to thousands of residents of Madrid. The remodeling of this space focused on three main interventions: green areas spanning 55,000 m2, sports areas covering 24,000 m2, and recreational and cultural areas totaling 21,000 m2.
To reinforce the management of the collaborative contract, Grupo Ortiz requested support from CORE, an expert in Design & Construction Management, for the implementation of the BIM methodology in the As-Built Architecture Modeling phase.
CORE has incorporated some aspects of its C2R System for construction project management, allowing for the following enhancements to the Project:
i. Developing a BIM architecture model.
ii. BIM Management and integration of the rest of the disciplines.
These improvements over traditional project management systems contribute to having an accurate image of the construction work to be carried out.
