Real Estate Developments Hispater SL is promoting the Hotel Project on Av. Juan XXIII, Málaga. The project consists of three plots, one for the hotel, another for a staircase adaptation reform, and the last one intended for the construction of a park.
The hotel, designed by the Sanchez-Blanco Architects Studio, has an area of 5,900 m2 and comprises 7 above-ground floors where 168 rooms will be located, and 2 below-ground floors with parking. Lean methodologies will be applied from the initial phases of the project to achieve optimization of resources, thus reducing time and costs. To achieve this, the integration of as many stakeholders as possible is carried out in the concept phase to encourage collaboration and joint estimation of the project budget in parallel with its development.
CORE has incorporated some aspects of its C2R Construction Project Management System for the Project:
i. Drafting of the Project Management Plan
ii. Implementation of Target Value Design
iii. Application of the Last Planner System
The Lean methodology developed by CORE in its C2R System contributes to obtaining a faithful image of the construction work, detecting incidents that may have arisen during the work in very early stages, with significant average reductions in cost and time of 12% and 18%, respectively.
