STONEWEG S.A. is promoting the Hotel – Apartment Project in Calle Emma Penella c/v Camino de Montoro in Valdebebas, Madrid. This project will be managed by means of a Collaborative Agreement in the development phases of the execution project and construction work. It consists of two buildings with building capacities of 16,160 m2 and 19,596 m2, in both cases with two levels below ground level. In order to reinforce the collaborative contract management, Stoneweg has asked CORE, expert in Design & Construction Management, for support in the implementation of the BIM methodology in the Execution Project phase to collect and manage all the information coordinated between the different disciplines, generating together with the Design Team led by COT & Partners, measurements that allow to contain the risks in the cost and contract management.
CORE has incorporated some of the aspects of its C2R Construction Project Management System allowing for the Project:
i. In development of an architectural BIM model.
ii. BIM Management and integration of the rest of the disciplines.
These improvements over the usual project management systems contribute to having a true picture of the work to be built, detecting incidents that may have arisen during the work at very early stages.
