The Water Agency of Catalonia is beginning to implement BIM in its works and requires the supervision of BIM requirements by contractors.
For this portfolio, Enghydra, construction director of several projects for the Agency, has decided to incorporate CORE developing the tasks of reviewing the BEP drawn up by the construction companies at the beginning of the works and a review of the models for the as-built at the end.
This Portfolio includes the following Projects:
• Wastewater treatment plant and collector in Alta Cabacés, Priorat
• High collectors and the Can Carbonell core wastewater treatment plant, Caldes de Malavella
• Wastewater treatment plant in Falset,
Ebre CORE has incorporated some of the aspects of its C2R Construction Project Management System allowing for the Project:
i. In compliance with the requirements of the client’s EIR in the previous phase of generation of the BIM models.
ii. Review of the development of as-built models and their correct configuration for maintenance.
These improvements over the usual project management systems are helping to meet the client’s BIM requirements in the early stages of model development and facilitating their use in the maintenance phase.
